About the Role
The Customer Service Manager plays a vital role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and effective assistance regarding products and services. This position requires managing customer communication channels, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining detailed records of interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries across multiple platforms such as phone calls, emails, live chats, and social media regarding products, orders, billing, and company policies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints by actively listening, investigating concerns, and delivering timely solutions that convert dissatisfied customers into satisfied ones.
- Facilitate order-related processes, including order placement, shipment tracking, handling refunds, exchanges, and cancellations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions using CRM tools like Salesforce or Zendesk to ensure accurate issue history.
- Possess thorough knowledge of company products and services in order to explain features, troubleshoot minor issues, and offer suitable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional or upgraded products that align with customer needs.
- Consistently meet performance indicators such as response times, issue resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores, and interaction quality standards.
- Recognize when issues require escalation to specialized departments such as technical support, billing, or supervisory personnel.
- Adhere strictly to corporate policies related to refunds, privacy, and service provision to ensure fairness and consistency.
