A busy Christchurch Airport branch is seeking support for day-to-day operations in a front-facing Vehicle Return Agent role. This is the first contact point for arriving customers and involves handling vehicle check-ins, helping to keep returns moving smoothly, and preparing cars for the next rental.

What the role involves

You will welcome customers on arrival, manage the return process efficiently, inspect vehicles, and get each car ready for the next hire. The position can also involve giving directions or travel guidance, as well as helping to resolve customer concerns and complaints when needed.

Working pattern

The branch operates seven days a week, Monday through Sunday, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The role requires a 40-hour week across five 8-hour shifts, which may fall on early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays depending on business needs.
