Job description
Role overview
Ryanair is hiring Cabin Crew for its Liverpool base. This role places you in Europe’s largest airline group, working across a vast network of operational bases and helping deliver high-quality service on thousands of daily flights.
This opportunity is open to people without prior cabin crew experience. Successful candidates receive fully funded training that covers the core skills needed to provide a safe, smooth and professional inflight experience. After completing training, crew members are awarded their Cabin Crew Wings and begin flying duties.
The position is energetic and customer-focused, but it is also safety-critical. Cabin Crew are expected to work early and late shifts, including very early report times on morning duties and late finishes on afternoon rosters. Candidates should be comfortable with a fast-moving environment and a strong service culture.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, efficient and professional service to passengers throughout the flight.
- Help ensure the safety of guests and follow all onboard procedures and standards.
- Work scheduled early and late shifts as part of a rotating roster.
- Support a positive inflight experience for a high volume of travelers across the network.
- Handle passenger interactions with a helpful, confident and customer-first approach.
- Contribute to sales activity during the flight, where applicable.
Requirements
- Must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and/or the ability to travel freely across the Ryanair network.
- Approximate height must fall between 5'2" (157 cm) and 6'2" (188 cm).
- Must be able to swim 25 metres unaided and also assist another person in the water.
- Should be adaptable, flexible, hardworking and naturally friendly.
- Must be comfortable working on a shift roster.
- Should enjoy serving the public and be able to provide strong customer service with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Must speak and write English confidently and be able to pass an English language assessment.
- Should have a genuine interest in travel and meeting new people.
- Candidates must complete a mandatory English proficiency test and a situational judgment test during the application process; not completing these assessments will mean they do not progress to interview.
Benefits
- Free internationally recognised Cabin Crew training.
- Paid training allowance.
- Unlimited staff travel at heavily discounted rates.
- Uncapped sales bonus opportunity.
- Fixed roster pattern.
- Chance to join a large, international cabin crew network.
- Opportunity to explore new places and cultures with colleagues on days off.
- Uniform provided free in the first year, with an annual allowance after that.
- Job security with a financially stable airline.
- Competitive salary package.
- Industry-leading roster.
Career growth
There are clear internal progression paths, with opportunities to move into roles such as Cabin Supervisor, Base Supervisor, Regional Manager, or even senior inflight leadership positions.
Work environment
This is a demanding but rewarding position where safety comes first. The role suits people who are enthusiastic, enjoy teamwork, and are comfortable serving customers in a lively, high-pressure setting.
