Role Overview

As a Customer Service Associate specializing in Floristry at Marks & Spencer, you will enhance the customer journey by crafting, maintaining, and showcasing top-quality floral arrangements and fresh flower displays. Your duties encompass managing daily florist operations to ensure freshness, care, and presentation align with M&S high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional customer service, welcoming and assisting clients with expert advice on flower choices, arrangements, care, pricing, and ongoing promotions.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve basic issues promptly, escalating when required, fostering long-term customer relationships that boost loyalty and repeated visits.
• Maintain and replenish fresh flowers, bouquets, and gift products per demand and quality criteria, removing any wilted or damaged stock swiftly.
• Prepare customer floral orders accurately, ensuring proper wrapping and packaging for pickup or delivery.
• Uphold superior visual merchandising standards, keeping floral displays attractive, colorful, and inspiring, reflective of brand guidelines and promotional activities.
• Keep the florist's workspace clean, orderly, and safe, including counters, preparation zones, tools, and display fixtures.
• Manage stock by receiving deliveries, conducting quality checks, rotating inventory, assisting with stocktaking, and reporting shortages or supply concerns.
• Promote complementary products, support seasonal campaigns, and contribute to sales targets, availability goals, and waste minimization.

Required Skills and Attributes

• A strong passion for exceptional customer service coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal interaction abilities.
• Effective merchandising and replenishment proficiency with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to work efficiently within a fast-moving retail environment, including safe manual handling of stock to maintain floral quality.
• Basic knowledge of inventory processes such as stock rotation and ordering support.
• A collaborative team spirit and positive approach to workplace challenges.

Qualifications and Additional Details

• Previous experience in flower shops is essential; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Proficient English language communication skills are required; Arabic language skills are considered advantageous.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is expected.
