Role overview

DPD UK is looking for an experienced and dependable Customer Services Advisor to join its busy customer service team at the London Docklands site. The position sits within a fast-moving environment focused on delivering a high standard of service to both internal and external customers.

Contract and working pattern

  • Fixed-term contract of 6 months
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Working days: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays (1 in 4)
  • Working hours: 08:00 to 16:30
  • Location: DPD London Docklands, Twelvetrees Crescent, Bromley-by-Bow, London, E3 3JG
  • Salary: Approximately £24,700 plus London Weighting Allowance

What the role involves

You will support customers with questions and issues related to parcel collections and deliveries. The role requires close collaboration with drivers, shift managers, and operations managers to identify problems, take ownership, and work through resolutions quickly and effectively.

  • Responding to delivery-status enquiries and providing Proof of Delivery information
  • Investigating missing parcels thoroughly and helping resolve delivery disputes
  • Promoting DPD products and services to both new and existing customers
