Customer Sales & Service Agent - SkyCargo at Emirates

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver top-tier customer service to Emirates clients either at Dubai International (DXB) or Al Maktoum International (DWC) airports, including providing detailed information on fares and issuing tickets online.
• Issue airline tickets ensuring all regulatory requirements and airline procedures are met, including informing customers about essential travel documentation such as passports, visas, health mandates, and check-in details.
• Proactively promote Emirates’ offerings such as Skywards programs, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings, and ticket upgrades to augment revenue streams.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve service quality, enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting Emirates’ market leadership.
• Maintain and organize ticket-related documentation, update scheduling resources, and manage promotional materials effectively at counters to assist customers and increase sales (specific to Reservations and Ticketing offices).
• Assist in daily financial closing activities and banking, while building and nurturing customer databases to foster ongoing relationships and future travel needs (focused on Reservations and Ticketing offices).
• Address inquiries from customers and agents regarding cargo import/export processes from quotation to reservation and provide digital support to facilitate self-service via online platforms.
• Follow up on quotes consistently to identify opportunities for increasing shipment volumes and revenue, keeping all parties informed about shipment statuses.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completed 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in cargo or logistics.
• Excellent communication, sales aptitude, and customer service expertise.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic sales team environment.
• Proficient with PC operations, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications.
• Sound understanding of airline industry procedures and ticketing methodologies.
• Qualified in standard fares, ticketing courses, and experienced with Skywards and MARS reservation systems.
• Arabic language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) are advantageous.
