Role overview
In this position, you will help advertisers in Australia and New Zealand start strong on Google’s advertising platforms. The role combines relationship building, customer onboarding, consultative selling, and account management. You will work with a collaborative team and coordinate closely with sales, product, and program partners to create a smooth experience for new customers.
The team focuses on helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed by using Google’s advertising solutions. The environment is fast-moving and ownership-driven, with an emphasis on creativity, teamwork, and delivering measurable value for customers and Google.
What you will do
- Take ownership of a portfolio of new customers for a six-month onboarding period and help them build a strong foundation for long-term success.
- Work toward customer objectives while ensuring the onboarding process is timely, effective, and high quality.
- Partner with sales, product, and program teams to ensure handoffs between groups are smooth and coordinated.
- Find creative ways to strengthen customer relationships, share performance improvement ideas, and introduce relevant Google products.
- Advise advertisers strategically so they can improve return on investment and get more value from their campaigns.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media, or marketing.
Preferred qualifications
- About 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or management consulting.
- 3 years of experience working with AU/NZ media agencies in Australia.
- Experience working effectively with companies in the Australian market.
- Comfort with proactive outreach and cold calling, along with a genuine interest in helping customers grow their businesses.
- Ability to navigate market-specific issues related to customer reachability and product sales in Australia and New Zealand.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect well with Australian clients.
Additional information
Preference will be given to applicants who already have the legal right to work in Singapore and do not need visa sponsorship from Google.
