Role Overview
The Customer Onboarding Specialist is a vital part of the sales and onboarding teams, responsible for guiding new customers through the initial 30 days to ensure a smooth setup and successful adoption of the company’s innovative financing platform. This role directly impacts the value delivered to end users and requires ownership of each new account during its early lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct top-tier training sessions to educate customers effectively
- Prepare extensively before customer interactions to guarantee efficient and practical implementations
- Use compelling stories from previous customers to foster momentum and generate enthusiasm
- Navigate multiple software tools to provide a meaningful onboarding experience
- Drive maximum adoption and utilization of the platform within the first 30 days
- Introduce and enhance marketing initiatives in collaboration with merchant partners
- Offer customers guidance and best practice resources to boost their revenue and engagement
- Deliver valuable feedback to internal teams to aid continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Over two years of experience in roles directly interacting with customers
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust
- Proficient with diverse software platforms and adaptable to new tools
- Quick problem-solving skills and flexibility to handle challenges dynamically
- Detail-oriented approach coupled with a proactive, can-do mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales, customer success, or account management is advantageous
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $87,000 per year
- Uncapped on-target commissions worth $33,000 annually
