Role overview
The organization is hiring a Customer Onboarding Specialist to guide new customers through their first stage with the financing platform. You will be the primary owner of each new account for the first 30 days and play a key part in the sales and onboarding process. The work is central to delivering value to end users and helping customers get set up for long-term success.
What you'll do
- Lead high-quality training sessions for customers and help them get comfortable with the platform.
- Do the necessary preparation before customer calls so implementation stays smooth and practical.
- Share compelling customer success stories to create early excitement and confidence.
- Use a range of software tools to deliver an effective onboarding journey.
- Drive strong platform adoption during the first 30 days of each new account.
- Support marketing and placement efforts alongside merchant partners.
- Equip customers with guidance and materials that help improve revenue and platform usage.
- Pass along useful feedback to internal teams to improve the product and process.
Required background
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing position.
- A strong interest in customer experience and service quality.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and connect well with others.
- Comfort working across multiple software platforms.
- Quick thinking with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a problem-solving approach.
Preferred background
- Previous exposure to sales, customer success, or account management is considered an advantage.
Compensation and benefits
The package includes a $87,000 base salary, plus an uncapped $33,000 on-target commission opportunity. Additional benefits include a generous equity grant, medical, vision, and dental coverage, a fully remote setup, and summer and winter company retreats.
