Role overview
Join the Brisbane airport team as a permanent full-time Customer Delivery Driver with dnata catering & retail, Australia’s leading inflight catering and retail partner. This is a practical, hands-on position that supports the smooth running of aviation services by ensuring catering is delivered safely and accurately to aircraft.
The role places you on the airside team, where you will represent the business on the tarmac, work closely with cabin crew, and help keep aircraft servicing on schedule. What you will do
- Drive short distances and complete basic vehicle checks, including refuelling.
- Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering items, trolleys, and ovens while keeping quantities accurate and reporting any mismatches.
- Position and guide vehicles safely in line with company rules as well as airport and airline procedures.
- Coordinate with cabin crew during aircraft servicing and handover.
- Complete administrative paperwork, prepare reports, and carry out general cleaning tasks when needed.
What you need
- A clear National Police Check.
- A valid MR or HR driver’s licence with at least 2 years of driving experience on the road.
- Comfort with frequent manual handling tasks.
- Willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster based around flight schedules.
- Availability for 38 hours per week in a permanent full-time capacity.
- Strong spoken and written communication ability.
- Good numeracy skills for accurate records and reporting.
- A neat, well-presented appearance with a strong emphasis on hygiene.
