Role Summary
This evening custodial role is responsible for keeping the distribution center clean, organized, and safe. The position follows a fixed full-time schedule and is based onsite in Suwanee, Georgia.
Schedule and Pay
- Hourly pay starts at $18.
- Pay is issued every Friday.
- This is a full-time role with a set schedule.
- Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
Key Duties
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the distribution center, including both indoor and outdoor areas.
- Keep work areas, building spaces, and surrounding grounds orderly, uncluttered, and free of hazards.
- Clean and disinfect break rooms, including refrigerators and microwaves.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly.
- Wash windows, clean the warehouse floor and dock areas, and help keep the parking lot tidy.
- Collect and remove trash from inside and outside the facility.
- Track and restock cleaning materials and related supplies.
- Handle minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Carry out preventive maintenance routines such as dusting and sanitizing workstations, cleaning refrigerators, and deep-cleaning work areas.
- Take on additional related duties when assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance and custodial work.
- Prior experience in a maintenance/custodial environment.
- Background in fast-paced workplaces.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without close supervision.
- Strong professionalism and the ability to communicate with different levels of management.
- High attention to detail, along with punctuality and dependability.
- Energy, a positive outlook, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic English literacy is required.
- This position is not available for visa sponsorship.
- Employment depends on passing a 7-year background check.
Work Environment
- This is not a typical warehouse setting: there are no forklifts, hard hats, or steel-toed boots required.
- Music is played while working to create a more upbeat atmosphere.
- Comfortable workwear is acceptable, such as jeans, t-shirts, and supportive closed-toe shoes.
