Role Overview
The Curriculum & Assessment Specialist is a full-time remote position responsible for crafting and refining educational content and assessment tools aligned with MySkills’ mission. The role involves developing curricula that meet specific learning goals, designing instructional materials, and ensuring evaluations accurately reflect learner progress and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured curricula and assessment instruments aligned with learning objectives.
- Create instructional materials that provide engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Conduct research on educational best practices and instructional design methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with content creators and subject matter experts to refine program content.
- Iterate learning programs continuously based on learner feedback and performance analytics.
- Maintain thorough documentation and support quality assurance processes for learning products.
- Contribute to innovative learning strategies that enhance engagement and efficacy.
Skills and Qualifications
- Solid experience in curriculum development and designing outcome-focused educational programs.
- Proficient in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Strong written communication skills to create clear, learner-centered instructional and assessment content.
- Excellent research skills to inform evidence-based educational practices and analyze learner needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and e-learning tools, comfortable in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management abilities to juggle multiple projects successfully.
- Dedication to inclusive design approaches, with a particular interest in mindset, resilience, and personal development.
