Job description
Overview and Role Profile
This position offers a valuable opportunity to engage in a series of research projects aimed at developing high-quality digital resources for Irish language speakers. The appointed candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary team addressing aspects of terminology, corpus linguistics, toponymy, biography, folklore, and other related areas. The research assistant will collaborate closely with Gaois team members and their research partners to achieve the objectives of ongoing projects.
The role reports directly to the Principal Investigators of the various projects and the Head of Enterprise & the School of Irish. There are also potential PhD research opportunities available for candidates who have the capability and interest.

Salary Details
The salary scale for the Research Assistant role ranges between €34,129 and €40,675, with appointment depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience as well as current government pay policy.
