About fiskaly
fiskaly develops B2B technology that helps businesses handle digital receipts and compliant transactions with less friction. Its products support secure, legally aligned receipt processes, help reduce tax fraud through tamper-resistant digital signatures, and give merchants a paperless receipt option that simplifies day-to-day operations.
Role overview
As a CS E-Invoicing Expert, you will be the main specialist for e-invoicing across all company markets. In this role, you will guide customer-facing pre-sales discussions, strengthen the customer success team with training and subject-matter expertise, and convert fast-changing regulatory requirements into practical knowledge that customers and colleagues can use.
You should be comfortable working across both broad regulatory topics and the detailed realities of individual markets, including the practical issues customers face at go-live. The role also expects strong day-to-day use of AI tools for research, drafting, and content creation, together with careful human review of the outputs. You will connect Sales, Customer Success, and customers while working in a highly regulated environment where staying current is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house authority on e-invoicing across all markets and support customer-facing pre-sales conversations.
- Track regulatory updates in European markets and turn them into clear, actionable advice for customers and internal teams.
- Train and enable the Customer Success team on e-invoicing topics and convert knowledge into articles, guides, and learning material.
- Produce and review AI-supported content and videos for multiple countries, with careful validation before publication.
- Respond to internal knowledge requests and act as the first escalation contact for complex e-invoicing cases.
- Use AI tools daily for research, drafting, automation, video creation, and knowledge management as part of your workflow.
Requirements
- At least 3–5+ years of experience in e-invoicing, fiscalization, or tax compliance.
- Background in customer-facing or consulting roles.
- Practical understanding of Peppol, EN16931, and country-level e-invoicing mandates, including how they differ in real-world use.
- Strong English communication skills; German is a significant advantage, and additional European languages are helpful.
- Comfort communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Regular use of AI tools with the discipline to verify and correct outputs rather than accepting them at face value.
- Ability to work from Austria or remotely within the EU.
- Hands-on exposure to content creation, video production, or automation tools is a plus.
What the company offers
- A supportive environment where you can grow, experiment, and learn from setbacks.
- 25 vacation days per year for employees based in Austria.
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid working setup.
- Opportunities for both personal and professional development.
- A public transportation ticket.
- Company hardware in the operating system of your choice: Windows, Linux, or Mac.
- Access to a large, bright office near the Neubaugasse U3 subway station.
- An inclusive, upbeat culture with a focus on well-being and personal growth.
Additional information
Location: Vienna is preferred, but the role can also be performed remotely from Spain or Germany.
Language requirements: English is mandatory, German is a strong advantage, and any other European language is a bonus.
Experience: 3–5+ years in e-invoicing, fiscalization, or tax compliance, with proven customer-facing or consulting experience.
Contract: Full-time, permanent position.
Why this role
The company focuses on solving real operational problems rather than vanity projects. The team is described as pragmatic, direct, and committed to building dependable technology for a demanding industry. If that approach appeals to you, this could be a strong fit.
