Role overview
MLG Oz is seeking a reliable and experienced Storeperson to support its Crushing & Screening team in Cockburn, Perth. This is a practical, hands-on warehouse position suited to someone who performs well in busy site environments and takes pride in keeping materials, stock, and site support running efficiently. The role involves site travel as operational needs require.

Key duties
- Handle purchasing tasks such as requisitions, purchase orders, receipting, invoicing, and dealing with suppliers
- Manage stock movement and records, including receipting, stock control, cycle counts, and twice-yearly stocktakes
- Prepare, pick, and pack materials for dispatch to site
- Arrange freight pickups and deliveries
- Assist with project mobilisations and demobilisations, including warehouse setup and system configuration
- Work with the Inventory Controller to review slow-moving, surplus, and obsolete inventory
- Follow inventory procedures, policies, and system requirements
- Use forklifts and warehouse equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe
What you will need
- A solid background in warehousing in a similar position
- Practical experience with purchasing, stock control, pick and pack, freight coordination, and invoicing
- A current driver’s licence
- A current forklift licence with hands-on operating experience
- Exposure to crushing and screening or another heavy industry setting, which would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, planning ability, and time management
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, physically active environment
- Certificate II in Warehousing, preferred but not essential
