Overview
This role supports field harvesting and general crop-handling work for a farm operation focused on berry and mixed crop production. The work is carried out entirely at the physical worksite; remote work is not available.
Language requirements
Applicants should be able to communicate in English or French. Spanish is also considered an asset.
Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Experience
Previous experience of 7 months to less than 1 year is expected.
Work location and environment
All duties must be performed on site in Lavaltrie, Quebec, Canada. The role involves outdoor farm work in conditions that may be wet or damp, dusty, hot, and noisy. The setting includes fruit and vegetable combination farming and other miscellaneous crop farming.

The employer does not cover relocation expenses, although candidates who are willing to relocate may apply.
Responsibilities
This position includes a wide range of harvesting, field maintenance, and produce-handling tasks.
- Remove brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
- Harvest agricultural crops by cutting and collecting produce.
- Separate freshly harvested produce into saleable and non-saleable groups.
- Clean greenhouse areas.
- Pack fruit and vegetables for handling and transport.
- Plant, tend, and irrigate crops.
- Sort fruits and vegetables.
- Tie and support plants as needed.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Carry out crop harvesting activities.
- Load, unload, and move crates, supplies, and farm produce, including livestock and poultry as required.

A valid driver's licence and access to personal transportation are required.
Working conditions and physical demands
