Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a CRM Business Functional Tester in Dubai to validate customer relationship management processes from a business perspective. The focus of this role is to translate workflows and business rules into practical test coverage, ensuring the solution works correctly for end users before release.
This position is centered on functional behavior, process accuracy, and user experience rather than purely technical testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business requirement documents and functional specifications, then create test plans that stay fully aligned with the stated business needs.
- Perform functional and end-to-end validation across lead management, opportunity tracking, case handling, and campaign automation.
- Check data consistency, integration flows, role-based access controls, and the correctness of dashboard outputs.
- Record defects in Jira or Azure DevOps, execute regression testing, and clearly explain the business effect of any issues found.
- Support user acceptance testing by helping stakeholders, preparing test data, and converting technical findings into simple business language.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate should have practical CRM testing experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP CRM, or Oracle CRM. A solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and the software development lifecycle is important, along with basic SQL knowledge for checking database records.
Experience using tools such as Jira, Selenium, Postman, Zephyr, and Azure DevOps is expected. Professional certifications like ISTQB, Salesforce Admin, or Dynamics 365 are considered an advantage.
Experience
This role requires 2 to 5 years of overall software testing experience, including 1 to 2 years specifically in CRM testing environments.
