- Create enterprise-level data models and integration approaches across core banking, channels, and analytics domains to build trustworthy and reusable data assets.
- Set target-state architecture blueprints for Temenos Analytics and TDH implementations, balancing performance, cost, security, and long-term maintainability across markets and business units.
- Support solution teams in designing ingestion, transformation, and consumption flows that deliver strong value while reducing technical debt and operational exposure.
- Evaluate and approve both high-level and detailed technical designs for pipelines, semantic layers, and analytics services, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and regulatory needs.
- Define practices for data quality, metadata, lineage, and observability so analytics outputs can be relied upon for reporting and strategic decisions.
- Work with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to turn complex requirements into realistic and executable technical designs.
- Advise on tuning, sizing, and optimization of Temenos Analytics and Data Hub environments so dashboards remain responsive and data stays available on time.
- Promote secure-by-design and privacy-aware engineering by embedding controls for access, masking, and retention in line with policy.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on reference architectures for on-premise and cloud-hosted Temenos analytics landscapes with high availability and disaster recovery.
- Coach senior engineers and architects on modern data architecture practices while encouraging experimentation within strong governance boundaries.
- Present architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders so technology investments are informed and well understood.
- Assess new data technologies and banking patterns continuously, and recommend practical improvements to the architecture roadmap that increase client value and societal impact.
Technical and domain requirements
- Extensive background in enterprise-scale data and analytics architecture, preferably with significant exposure to banking or financial services.
- Hands-on expertise with Temenos Analytics, including setup, performance tuning, and integration with core and surrounding systems.
- Practical implementation experience with Temenos Data Hub, including ingestion, transformation design, orchestration, and governance.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data lake concepts, with the ability to select the right pattern for regulatory and business requirements.
- Good command of SQL and modern data processing frameworks to review designs and guide efficient engineering execution.
- Experience defining enterprise data standards for quality, metadata, lineage, security, and reference data management in complex organizations.
- Exposure to analytics and reporting tools commonly used with Temenos ecosystems is an advantage.
- Cloud-based data platforms and containerized deployment models that support elastic scaling and automated recovery are a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for working effectively across business and technology teams in a day-shift, work-from-office setting.
- Background in regulatory reporting, risk analytics, or financial performance management is beneficial because it supports compliance and trust-oriented architecture decisions.
