Role Overview
This role is part of the Public Records team and focuses on researching criminal background information for employment screening. The work involves reviewing criminal court records at the county, state, and federal levels. Full training is provided, and candidates with interest in criminal justice are encouraged to apply even if they do not already have a background in the field.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with available shifts of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Initial training runs for 2 to 4 weeks on the 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift.
Compensation
The position pays $16 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Confirm applicant background details for employment and screening purposes, including criminal, civil, and sex offender history.
- Carry out research by phone, mail, fax, and through direct contact with agents.
- Follow up with courts to track the progress and status of searches.
- Record findings and notes in the company’s proprietary system.
- Examine source documents and assess them for pre-employment screening use.
