Job Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and timely service to customers.
• Prepare food items adhering strictly to GYG’s procedures and quality guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods to support proactive customer assistance.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations to uphold operational standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in English, including advanced skills for non-native speakers.
• Possession of an RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
• Ability to multitask effectively within a high-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy, including point of sale and EFTPOS machine operation.
• Familiarity with Australian currency, various payment methods, and loyalty programs.
• Outgoing, approachable demeanor with strong patience and customer service orientation.
• Self-driven with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well within a team setting.

Prior experience in food preparation or customer service is favorable but not mandatory, as the right mindset is paramount.

This opportunity is a full-time, on-site role located in Hillcrest, South Australia, within the OTR Group’s franchised Guzman Y Gomez restaurant.
