Role Overview

Join CatholicCare Sydney as a Crew Coordinator supporting our social enterprises at the BariStars Coffee Van, Cleaning, and Gardening Services based primarily in Belmore with travel to various sites. This role offers part-time, full-time, and casual opportunities to apply your practical skills in a meaningful environment where you will support employees with disabilities in skill-building and confidence development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in operations of the BariStars Coffee Van including coffee preparation and delivering excellent customer service, or supervise cleaning and gardening crews across multiple locations.
  • Mentor and support employees with disabilities in their daily work tasks.
  • Coordinate team schedules, workflows, and activities effectively.
  • Help employees achieve personal growth and employment objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain high-quality service levels.

Candidate Profile

  • Passionate about supporting individuals with disability and enabling their workplace success.
  • Experienced in hospitality, commercial cleaning, customer service, or related sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering workplace diversity and inclusion.
  • Knowledgeable about Workplace Health & Safety regulations.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Unrestricted Driver's Licence.
  • Current First Aid Certification.
  • NDIS Worker Check clearance.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, cleaning, or customer service settings.

Desirable Qualities

  • Previous barista, cleaning, or gardening experience.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities is advantageous.
