Job Overview

The Creeler is tasked with setting up and maintaining creeling equipment to guarantee a continuous and efficient supply of fiber to tufting machines, which is a crucial aspect of turf production quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Load fiber bobbins onto creels, ensuring proper alignment to effectively feed the tufting machines.
• Regularly monitor the fiber supply during production runs, promptly replacing empty bobbins to avoid operational delays.
• Inspect incoming fiber for defects and remove substandard material to maintain product quality standards.
• Support tufting machine operators with managing any yarn-related issues that arise during production.
• Coordinate with the production team to confirm the usage of correct fiber types, colors, and quantities for various jobs.
• Keep the creeling station clean and orderly while adhering strictly to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift materials weighing around 10 pounds and remain standing for prolonged durations.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure yarn quality and proper creel setup.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operators and supervisors.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; knowledge of creels or tufting machines is advantageous but not mandatory.
