About NeoStats Analytics

NeoStats is a modern data and analytics company focused on delivering forward-looking solutions and broad business impact. Founded in 2022, it provides end-to-end data and analytics services and is headquartered in the UAE, with operations in India and the UK. The organization brings together experienced industry professionals to drive transformation through practical expertise, strong collaboration, and full implementation support.

Key responsibilities

The position covers policy governance, underwriting oversight, product risk support, analytics, compliance, and stakeholder leadership. The selected professional will work closely with business and risk teams to ensure that credit decisions are sound, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Work location and term

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with an onsite working model. The contract duration is 12 months, and the expected experience level is 12 to 15 years.

Responsibilities

  • Build, review, and roll out credit risk policies for consumer lending, with the main focus on credit cards.
  • Make sure policy standards stay aligned with regulatory obligations, commercial goals, and market-leading practices.
  • Track portfolio performance on an ongoing basis and recommend policy refinements to keep risk under control.
  • Manage the full underwriting process and support consistent, well-reasoned credit decisions.
  • Handle complex or elevated-risk cases and ensure decisions follow approved underwriting rules.
  • Improve credit decisioning by using analytics, scorecards, and data-led insights.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and business teams on the launch and improvement of credit card products from a risk standpoint.
  • Define eligibility rules, limits, pricing inputs, and segmentation approaches that balance growth with risk.
  • Monitor delinquency, losses, portfolio shifts, and profitability, then take corrective steps when needed.
  • Use risk analytics to evaluate portfolio quality, customer behaviour, and emerging risk patterns.
  • Prepare clear recommendations and present them to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop a strong understanding of credit card sales processes so risk controls support business expansion without weakening credit quality.
  • Work with Sales, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure smooth delivery of credit strategies.
  • Ensure complete compliance with SIMAH requirements, products, and reporting processes.
  • Serve as the key expert on Saudi credit bureau data and how it should be used in underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the cards and credit risk team while promoting a high-performance, risk-aware culture.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Support strong implementation efforts to help expand new segments identified by the business.

Requirements

  • 12 to 15 years of experience in credit risk, ideally within consumer lending and credit cards.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in the Saudi credit cards market.
  • Background in credit policy, product management, underwriting, and risk analytics.
  • Experience leading teams and working across multiple business functions.
  • Solid understanding of credit card business models, sales processes, and consumer risk practices.
  • Deep familiarity with SIMAH products, reports, and operating processes.
  • Strong analytical ability with the capability to turn data into risk actions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, changing environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly and adapt to shifts in the market, regulation, or business needs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

What we offer

  • A dynamic and respectful workplace that values people.
