This is a permanent, full-time courier position based at the Telford Service Centre (TF1 7FA) in Telford, England. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00.

The role sits on the frontline of customer service and involves collecting and delivering shipments while upholding a high standard of professionalism, reliability and service quality. • Carry out deliveries and collections in line with time-definite customer commitments.
  • Serve as a professional face of the company and help ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Develop positive customer relationships and look for ways to support the business.
  • Maintain a helpful, proactive and service-oriented attitude throughout the day.
  • Organise and prioritise your route so all stops are completed within the required timeframe.
  • Adjust quickly when routes or operational needs change.
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet demanding deadlines and service targets.
  • Keep your work accurate, well-ordered and detail-focused.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and ensure shipments are loaded, handled and transported safely.
  • Record driving and working hours accurately in line with regulations.
  • Follow company procedures, policies and security requirements at all times.
  • Handle shipments of different sizes and weights while following manual handling guidance.
  • Complete all documentation and data entry accurately.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and comfortable working independently while staying focused on service quality.

  • Demonstrates pride in delivering strong customer service and representing the brand well.
  • Can manage their workload independently and reliably.
  • Works calmly under pressure and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
  • Communicates clearly and builds good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Shows the company’s CIS behaviours: Can Do, Passion, Speed and Right First Time.
  • Has experience in a customer-facing or delivery position; multi-drop experience is an advantage.
  • Brings good route-planning ability and strong geographical awareness.
  • Has solid communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Is physically able to meet the demands of the job.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
  • Is willing to obtain, or already holds, a digital tachograph card.

What the role offers

  • A frontline position with a global logistics business.
  • Independence in the day-to-day job while contributing to a high-performing team.
  • Experience in a fast-moving, time-critical operation.
