Role Overview

As the Country Manager for Germany, you will lead Revelyst’s commercial activities in a key European market. This position is responsible for country-level sales direction, revenue delivery, customer partnerships, and field sales execution, all while staying aligned with broader EMEA priorities. You will work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to support profitable expansion, strengthen strategic partnerships, and guide a strong sales team. This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who combines strategic commercial thinking with direct execution and a strong focus on customer relationships.

Commercial Leadership

  • Create and roll out the sales approach for Germany across all Revelyst brands.
  • Meet yearly targets for sales, margin, and market share.
  • Spot new business opportunities, expansion channels, and partnership possibilities.
  • Improve both sell-in and sell-through results across the market.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the German sales representative team.
  • Encourage a performance-driven culture built on ownership, customer success, and continuous improvement.
  • Define clear goals and help team members with development plans.

Key Account Management

  • Build senior-level relationships with important retailers, distributors, and buying groups.
  • Take the lead on yearly business reviews and commercial negotiations.
  • Deliver excellent service and build durable long-term partnerships.

Business Planning and Forecasting

  • Own the country’s forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning processes.
  • Track business performance and introduce corrective actions when needed.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Operations teams to improve inventory availability and service levels.

Market Development

  • Represent Revelyst in the German market.
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver seasonal campaigns, product launches, and retail activation plans.
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback to support business growth.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a similar field.
  • 8–10+ years of commercial sales experience in Sports, Outdoor, Cycling, Apparel, Consumer Goods, or comparable sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead sales teams and deliver revenue growth.
  • Strong experience in key account management and commercial negotiations.
  • Solid capability in business planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel extensively across Germany.
