Role overview

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA is looking for a commercially focused Country Head KSA to lead franchise operations and help expand the hotel portfolio in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This senior position blends operational oversight, business development, and commercial leadership to improve revenue, service quality, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and overall market performance.

Franchise operations and performance

  • Serve as the main point of contact for hotel owners, management companies, and property leadership teams.
  • Use performance data to guide action plans, business reviews, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Visit hotels on site to assess operations, spot opportunities, and support the delivery of agreed actions.
  • Help prepare new properties for launch so they meet brand expectations from day one.
  • Oversee adherence to brand standards, service quality, and quality assurance requirements.
  • Support training delivery and adoption of operating tools and brand programs.
  • Track core performance indicators such as guest satisfaction, revenue results, and compliance measures.

Business development and network growth

  • Increase the brand footprint in Saudi Arabia by identifying and securing new franchise and management opportunities.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with current and prospective owners and partners.
  • Assess new projects using feasibility analysis, due diligence, and alignment with regional strategy.
  • Support approval processes for new developments and ensure proposals fit company standards.

Commercial and financial contribution

  • Work with regional commercial teams to support revenue growth and brand contribution objectives.
  • Spot opportunities to strengthen RevPAR and improve market positioning.
  • Partner with hotel sales and revenue teams to implement focused commercial plans.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and broader financial performance goals.

Leadership and representation

  • Act as a senior brand ambassador across Saudi Arabia.
  • Influence and inspire stakeholders through strong leadership and relationship management.
  • Represent the business at industry events and networking forums.
  • Promote company values and support sustainability and community-focused initiatives.

  • Substantial experience in hotel operations and/or commercial leadership.
  • Experience in a senior management role within an international corporate environment, including business process planning and development, budgeting, and regular forecasting across multiple territories.
  • Direct responsibility for P&L, including revenue, GOP, and EBITDA.
  • Previous hospitality experience in both domestic and international settings, ideally across multiple brands in a multi-unit or regional role.
  • Strong familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Advanced analytical capability.
  • Extensive senior leadership and people management experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Skills and competencies

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability.
  • Commercial awareness and financial judgment.
  • Analytical thinking and data-based decision-making.
  • Clear communication and confident presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead change, handle complexity, and improve performance.
