Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the role requires an experienced and driven counter sales professional at the Hobart Branch in Tasmania. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, eager to acquire new skills, and motivated towards career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers both face-to-face and via telephone
• Engage in counter sales and nurture customer relationships
• Follow up on orders and notify customers of any pending items
• Uphold a professional store appearance
• Support product receipt and dispatch processes
• Pick, pack, and deliver orders to customers
• Manage stock including purchasing and inventory controls
• Create quotations and perform follow-ups
• Adhere to company and customer Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies
• Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Attributes

• Experience in electrical wholesale is preferred
• Proficient computer skills
