Job Overview
Kare Counselling in Mumbai is seeking a dedicated Counselling Psychologist for a full-time, on-site position based in Girgaon Chowpatty. This role involves delivering high-quality mental health services with a focus on ethical and culturally sensitive practices within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to adult and young adult clients, addressing issues like anxiety, stress, relationship problems, and life changes.
- Create and administer tailored treatment plans aligned with each client's needs.
- Accurately document clinical sessions maintaining ethical standards.
- Work jointly with the Kare Counselling team to refine treatment strategies.
- Engage in regular supervision and case evaluations.
- Make appropriate referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed international training in Psychology or Counselling.
- Possesses at least four years of clinical experience following qualification.
- Experience specifically in Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Demonstrates strong clinical expertise alongside ethical and interpersonal capabilities.
- Shows a willingness to collaborate and pursue ongoing professional development.
Work Environment and Details
- Workdays are Monday through Saturday.
- Therapy sessions are conducted in-person at the Mumbai location.
