Job description

Role overview

INSEAD is hiring a Cost Operations Officer to support the Executive Education team on a one-year, fixed-term contract. The position can be based either at the Asia Campus in Singapore or the Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi, with a working pattern of three days on campus and two days working from home.

The Executive Education division designs and delivers open-enrolment and tailored programmes for executives and organizations, with a focus on leadership growth and business innovation. The goal is to create advanced learning experiences that help professionals lead change and perform effectively in a global setting.

What this role does

The Cost Operations Officer, internally titled Officer, Admissions, oversees programme cost management and approval for Executive Education Open Programmes and Customised Programmes. The role also involves preparing a programme-specific file so the Accounts Receivable team can bill CSP clients through the Singapore and Abu Dhabi entities.

This is a practical, detail-heavy role for someone who is comfortable handling numbers, working with confidential information, and coordinating with stakeholders across Finance and Sales. The position also calls for independent working, initiative, and a mindset focused on improving and automating processes.

Key duties

The role helps ensure that all actions remain aligned with legal, tax, accounting, and internal policy requirements.

  • Review and authorise purchase requests and invoices tied to OEP and CSP programme costs.
  • Verify and approve travel expenses submitted for programme managers and faculty.
  • Gather supporting receipts in the relevant systems to support client recharge for CSP work.
  • Assemble the required programme documentation so Accounts Receivable can bill CSP clients according to the agreed contract terms.

Candidate profile

INSEAD is looking for a professional with more than four years of experience in a similar accounting or procurement-related role. The ideal person should bring a strong compliance mindset, solid Excel capability, and experience working with multi-user digital platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Concur, and AMEX Travel. The role also suits someone who is highly organised, precise, process-driven, a confident communicator, and mature and dependable in handling responsibilities.

Additional information

This is a full-time, short-term contract role lasting one year. It is an onsite position with a hybrid arrangement of three days in the office/campus and two days from home. The job may be based in Singapore or Abu Dhabi.
