Role Summary
The Corporate Recruiter will focus on finding, screening, and hiring strong talent for the organization. The role calls for building effective recruitment approaches, connecting with professionals in the industry, and keeping the hiring process organized, timely, and candidate-friendly to support staffing needs.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Recruiting Manager and does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
Key Duties
- Source candidates for geotechnical engineers, geologists, technicians, and administrative roles through job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Use the applicant tracking system to organize, manage, and communicate with candidates.
- Build and sustain a talent pipeline for both immediate openings and future hiring requirements.
- Screen applicants and evaluate whether their background and qualifications align with the role.
- Arrange screening conversations, interviews, follow-up discussions, and feedback exchanges.
- Keep candidates informed throughout the hiring journey with prompt and clear communication.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates and hiring activity to support recruiting metrics and effectiveness.
- Help ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies, industry requirements, and employment laws.
- Stay current on labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and effective hiring practices.
- Represent the company at career fairs and industry events to strengthen visibility and attract applicants.
- Use branding and marketing resources to promote the employer value proposition.
- Engage prospective talent through social media and other outreach platforms.
- Take on additional recruiting-related responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred, with sourcing experience and extensive phone-based customer service experience considered especially valuable.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong typing accuracy and careful data entry
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with computers and standard office equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic math aptitude
- Comfort with high-volume phone communication during screening
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to follow instructions and recruiting procedures

Compensation
The pay range for this role is USD 20 to USD 23 per hour.
