Job description
Role Overview
An established US law firm with a major international footprint is hiring a Corporate Paralegal to support its high-performing Private Equity and Corporate practice in London. The team is extremely busy and is seeking someone with prior paralegal experience who can contribute immediately.
The position offers exposure to major corporate and private equity transactions across the UK and internationally, within a broad and fast-moving legal environment. The compensation is stated as up to £60,000 per year, plus overtime.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting due diligence work for corporate and private equity matters
- Setting up, maintaining, and overseeing data rooms throughout transactions
- Handling Companies House-related tasks and filings
- Assisting solicitors with drafting and circulating transaction documents
- Helping manage the deal closing process and providing practical support at completion
- Carrying out legal research as required
