Position Overview

As the company expands, Turnkey Lender seeks an experienced Corporate Controller to lead daily financial operations and establish a robust financial framework for growth. This leadership role requires ownership of the core accounting functions including financial reporting, month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, cash management, reconciliations, audit coordination, and internal control development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes ensuring prompt and accurate financial reports.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, account reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.
• Manage accounts receivable including aging, collections strategy, dispute resolution, and escalation procedures.
• Supervise accounts payable, cash handling, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
• Oversee financial operations across multiple entities and international locations.
• Handle SaaS-specific revenue recognition, including subscription and professional services income.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and external financial reporting with external advisors.
• Enhance internal controls, financial policies, and operational procedures.
• Improve financial systems, reporting accuracy, and automation for greater efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with executive management to provide comprehensive insights into business performance, cash flow, margins, and trends.
• Accelerate closing processes and improve management reporting timeliness and quality.
• Function as a strategic financial partner to the CEO, fractional CFO, and leadership team.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least three years of increasing responsibility in finance and accounting roles such as Assistant Controller or Controller.
• Proven command of key controllership tasks: month-end close, financial reporting, AR, AP, cash management, reconciliations, audit participation, and internal controls.
• Experience in software, SaaS, technology, or similarly complex industries is strongly preferred.
• Background managing financial operations across various legal entities and countries is highly valued.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS accounting standards, revenue recognition, recurring revenue, and professional services financials.
• A record of enhancing financial processes, fortifying controls, shortening close cycles, and increasing financial transparency.
• Versatility to handle both strategic and detailed finance work directly.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
