Role Overview

The company is looking for a Corporate Development and M&A Manager to join its Düsseldorf office. This position sits close to the center of international growth planning and transaction activity, with involvement in cross-border work across Europe and the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support M&A transactions from start to finish, working across internal teams and outside advisors.
  • Run due diligence processes and turn findings into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Build financial models, prepare valuations, and develop business cases together with commercial and operational stakeholders.
  • Assist in negotiations by reviewing agreements, including contracts and transitional service agreements, to ensure business priorities are reflected.
  • Create high-quality presentations and supporting materials for senior leadership and executive review.
  • Research markets, identify acquisition opportunities, and assess targets through scouting and network collaboration.
  • Contribute to post-merger integration and carve-out work alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Develop trusted internal relationships and serve as a go-to partner on corporate development matters.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate M&A.
  • Strong capability in financial modelling and business case development.
  • Good understanding of M&A workflows and basic legal concepts for share and asset deals.
  • Excellent analytical ability, a data-focused mindset, and interest in technology.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle several stakeholders in a fast-moving setting.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex ideas easy to understand.
  • An entrepreneurial, hands-on attitude and a strong drive to deliver results.
  • Fluency in English.

Benefits

  • A chance to shape and support meaningful growth initiatives.
  • Competitive compensation along with room to grow professionally and advance personal ambitions.
  • Flexible working arrangements that support work-life balance.
  • Ownership of interesting, high-impact projects with visible influence on customers and the industry.
  • A positive atmosphere within a young, international, and motivated team.
  • Startup-style energy combined with the backing of a large international organization and its values.
