Job description

About Midnite

Midnite is a modern sports betting and gaming platform designed for a new generation of players. The company blends strong product judgment, a distinctive brand, and fast delivery to build experiences that feel current, easy to use, and aligned with how people play today.

More than 400,000 players have already joined, and the business is still in an early growth phase. The team operates with a high-performance mindset, taking ownership, iterating constantly, and avoiding unnecessary process. It moves quickly, tests often, and focuses on turning ambitious ideas into measurable impact.

If you are creative, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you can influence meaningful outcomes, this opportunity may be a strong fit.

Role Overview

This is a Corporate & Commercial Paralegal position within the Legal team. The role is suited to someone who can support a scaling international business across corporate governance, commercial agreements, promotional compliance, and wider legal projects. It offers broad exposure to a regulated digital industry and the chance to strengthen legal expertise while contributing to scalable legal processes.

You will work closely with the VP of Legal and be involved in strategic initiatives, commercial discussions, international expansion work, and improvements to legal operations.

Salary band: £55,000 to £65,000
Location requirement: The candidate must be within commuting distance of Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial tasks across several entities.
  • Keep statutory registers, Companies House submissions, and corporate records accurate and up to date.
  • Put together board packs, resolutions, and meeting minutes.
  • Review and draft promotional terms and conditions for marketing activity.
  • Help prepare and review commercial agreements such as NDAs and supplier contracts.
  • Carry out legal and regulatory research relating to gambling, corporate law, and data protection.
  • Manage legal documents and contract management tools and systems.
  • Support due diligence work and corporate restructuring projects.
  • Contribute to legal operations enhancements and AI adoption initiatives.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will already have experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a corporate or commercial legal setting. They should understand company secretarial work and corporate governance processes, and be comfortable producing accurate legal documents with strong drafting and proofreading ability.

This role calls for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to judge legal risk in a commercially sensible way. Clear communication is important, both with legal colleagues and with stakeholders outside the legal team. The right person will also be able to manage several priorities in a fast-moving environment and show genuine interest in gambling, gaming, fintech, or digital consumer businesses.

Benefits

  • Private health insurance, including optical cover, with dental cover available as an optional extra.
  • Income protection.
  • 25 days of holiday plus generous parental leave.
  • Flexible working arrangements and a fully supported home setup.
  • Salary sacrifice options, including nursery and tech schemes, along with retail discounts.
  • Quarterly team socials.
  • Transparent pay bands and a strong emphasis on growth and feedback.

Equal Opportunity and Adjustments

Midnite is committed to equal opportunity and aims to build balanced teams that reflect the diversity of its communities, including ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and all genders.

The company also wants to provide an inclusive and supportive interview experience. If you need any reasonable adjustments, you are encouraged to share that in advance so the process can be arranged appropriately.
