Corporate Accounts - Manufacturing MIS & Costing

Job Overview

This role involves leading manufacturing accounting, costing, management information systems (MIS), ERP reporting, and business analytics at TechNova's Corporate Office in Vashi. The incumbent will collaborate closely with plant and business units to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting processes for raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
• Compile product cost sheets and conduct inventory valuation exercises.
• Perform analyses of standard vs actual costing and investigate variances.
• Evaluate costs related to materials, labor, overhead, and utilities.
• Generate monthly MIS reports, interactive dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) summaries.
• Develop reports leveraging Power BI and advanced Excel functionalities.
• Reconcile ERP datasets and maintain high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Monitor stock aging and identify slow-moving inventory items.
• Provide assistance during month-end financial close, general ledger reviews, and reporting cycles.
• Coordinate compliance and audit activities including statutory, internal, and cost audits.
• Act as a business partner with departments such as production, procurement, and stores management.
• Advise management on cost reduction strategies and process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com or M.Com) is essential.
• Inter CA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Between 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing finance focusing on costing, MIS, and ERP systems.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Proficiency in manufacturing accounting, costing methodologies, ERP software, Power BI, advanced Excel including Power Query and pivot tables, and financial data analysis.
• Strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, effective business partnering, problem-solving aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a sense of ownership.

• Accuracy in costing and inventory management.
