About the Role
This position is for a Corporate Account Manager supporting life insurance sales through bank customers at branch locations spread across the assigned territory. The role reports to the Territory Sales Manager and is suited to a graduate with 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably from insurance or broader financial services.
The offered compensation is up to INR 4.5 lakhs per annum.
Key Responsibilities
You will work with branch teams and bank partners to build sales performance, manage relationships, and keep operations running smoothly.
- Deliver against set business goals for ANP, case count, active branches, active sales staff, and other branch-level KPIs.
- Partner with the Branch Manager to execute the business implementation plan.
- Support and motivate branch staff and the Bank RM, including assistance with application logging for sourced business.
- Identify the right branch database and ensure all documentation is genuine and complete.
- Build strong working relationships with bank sales and operations teams to meet branch business and productivity targets.
- Meet prospects and customers both inside and outside the branch when needed.
- Create, agree on, and implement short-term and long-term plans to achieve sales outcomes.
- Work toward activation targets for branch RMs.
- Collaborate with bank sales and operations teams for joint sales calls and team-based business generation.
- Secure commitment from the partner to deliver business objectives.
- Manage the relationship between the internal team and the channel partner to encourage sales and ensure prompt responses to partner needs.
- Represent the parent company effectively while supporting the channel partner.
- Execute marketing activities as required by the partner.
- Ensure policies are issued on time and pending cases are resolved.
- Maintain customer touchpoint engagement to service the customer portfolio.
- Help sustain the desired persistency ratio.
- Provide timely post-sales service across all relevant areas.
- Work closely with the RM to execute the business plan.
- Follow internal sales processes and all other compliance standards.
- Act as a process and product champion to reinforce policy and procedure adherence.
- Follow the training roadmap and submit reports to the supervisor as required.
- Observe the company's code of conduct at all times.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a graduate degree and 1 to 3 years of sales experience, with a background in insurance or financial services preferred. The role calls for strong product knowledge, business planning ability, awareness of the finance and insurance sector, self-management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate and influence peers effectively.
