About TeamKids
TeamKids is a premium outside school hours care provider operating across Australia. The organisation focuses on creating programs that keep children engaged, entertained and supported before school, after school and during school holiday periods.
Role overview
This is a permanent full-time position based at a school service in Roselands, New South Wales. The role offers flexibility to complete administrative work from home during non-service hours, and you will receive support from both a Mentor and a Regional Manager.
Service details
- Service location: Roselands NSW 2196
- The service is set up in the hall and requires setup and pack-down each day.
- Resources are stored in the shed, which also serves as the office space.
- The site includes generous outdoor space, equipment and an oval.
- There is a designated kitchen and storage area for food preparation.
- This is a small service.
Working hours
- Work is organised across split shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Before school care runs from 7:00am to 9:00am.
- After school care runs from 2:00pm to 6:15pm.
- Administrative time totals 6.75 hours.
- Total weekly hours are 38.
What the role involves
As the Director of Service, also known as a Coordinator, you will lead the service team to deliver a safe, enjoyable and compliant program. You will plan activities, supervise children, strengthen relationships with the school and wider community, and manage the day-to-day operation of the service.
Candidate profile
We are looking for someone who leads naturally, enjoys working with children, and brings energy and enthusiasm to a busy environment. Strong communication, problem-solving ability and a positive attitude are essential, along with a genuine passion for creating meaningful experiences for primary school-aged children.
Child safety and compliance
All successful candidates must complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko before starting work. Recruitment also includes background checks, reference checks and screening to ensure a strong commitment to child safety.
Pay and award note
Final salary is determined at offer stage and depends on the complexity and size of the service. Pay will be aligned with the organisation’s internal salary bands and the Children’s Services Award.
