About the Role

Join our enthusiastic team in the heart of the forest beside the Greifenbach reservoir at Jugendherberge Hormersdorf. We are looking for a passionate cook to prepare delicious meals and create memorable experiences for our guests, both in full-time or part-time capacity starting immediately.

Your Responsibilities

• Create tasty meals daily that delight our guests and occasionally surprise them with creative dishes.
• Ensure guests feel at home, not just provided accommodation.
• Encourage and motivate your team so coworkers come to work with a smile every day.
• Use resources and ingredients carefully and sustainably in daily kitchen operations.
• Implement environmentally friendly practices and inspire guests to travel consciously.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a cook with relevant professional experience and a keen focus on guest satisfaction.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and engaging in conversations while managing the buffet.
• Understand and connect with the younger generation and have enthusiasm for an energetic kitchen environment.
• Open to new ideas and eager to shape the youth hostel into a popular destination for young travelers.
