Position Overview

We are hiring a cook (m/w/d) who can work full-time, part-time, or as a temporary helper. As part of our kitchen team, you will prepare dishes at your station for guests attending conferences, wellness stays, and private visits. You will work with daily changing seasonal buffets and à la carte menus, maintaining high food quality standards.

Responsibilities and Role Expectations

• Deliver operational excellence with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and cook food following various culinary preparation methods, respecting food hygiene and cleanliness rigorously.
• Assist in live cooking and interact effectively with guests.
• Understand and support the kitchen's production workflows, including banquet kitchen operations.
• Manage time efficiently during high business volume and maintain overall order.
• Develop, recipe, and cost new menu offerings when possible.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Certified cook with professional experience in comparable roles.
• Familiarity with essential food preparation techniques and ingredient handling.
• Strong hygiene practices and commitment to a spotless environment.
• Awareness of the business and economic aspects of the kitchen operations.
• Positive, courteous, and well-groomed appearance with excellent teamwork spirit.
• Fluent in German with good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience with low-temperature cooking techniques is highly desirable.
