Cook (m/f/d) with Flexible Deployment in Youth Hostels in Northwest Germany

Overview

If you enjoy crafting delicious dishes with fresh ingredients and want to apply your culinary skills in a diverse setting, this role offers the perfect opportunity. We are seeking a full-time cook (m/f/d) to join our team at the earliest possible date.

In this position, you will operate independently and take responsibility across multiple youth hostels located in Northwest Germany with a flexible deployment schedule.

Key Duties

• Receive training at various locations to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational workflows.
• Provide flexible support within different kitchen teams as needed.
• Prepare, present, and serve a variety of meals.
• Manage the buffet area while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ensure compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations.
• Assist kitchen management with organizational tasks.
• Experience a varied workday including assignments at multiple youth hostels.

Candidate Profile

• Completed training as a cook or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Prior experience in gastronomy or large-scale kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Passion for creatively preparing and presenting food.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.
• Willingness to work during weekends and busy periods.
• Proficient German language skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Resilience and an organized approach to work.
• Valid Class B driver's license to enable travel among various youth hostels.
