Job description
About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our community catering team in Berlin. You will work in a modern Cook & Chill large-scale kitchen, preparing high-quality meals daily for hospitals, nursing homes, and social institutions in Berlin. Your tasks include following established recipes, maintaining consistent quality, and strictly adhering to hygiene and HACCP standards. The workplace is located in Berlin-Spandau near IKEA, with scheduled work hours between 6:00-14:30 and 8:00-16:00 from Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals using the Cook & Chill technique adhering to precise recipes.
- Ensure consistent quality and safety of food products.
- Maintain strict hygiene and comply with HACCP standards.
- Support smooth operations within the large-scale kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Completed training as a cook or experience working in large-scale or community catering kitchens.
- Proficient German language skills (minimum B2 level) for effective communication.
- Strong quality awareness and passion for cooking.
- Reliable and team-oriented work approach.
- Mandatory measles vaccination to protect patients.
