Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Contracts & Project Controls Specialist responsible for managing and evaluating contractual claims, maintaining project schedules, and supporting project risk assessments to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, assess, and handle contractual claims such as extensions of time, variations, disruptions, and costs through contract entitlement reviews and documentation.
- Develop and oversee project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, conduct critical path and delay analyses, and detect schedule delays and associated risks.
- Perform delay and disruption evaluations including Time Impact Analysis, comparison of planned versus actual progress, and Windows Analysis to back claim validations and recovery planning.
- Keep detailed project records, maintain claims registers and schedule variance logs, review contractual obligations, issue necessary notices, and identify potential risks and claim triggers.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to provide updated schedules, progress reports, claim evidence, and insights to facilitate project success.
Requirements
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Prior experience in claims management, project planning, or controlling within EPC or industrial construction projects.
- Proficient use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and familiarity with delay analysis techniques.
