About the role

This position is a practical, customer-facing opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and keeping multiple moving parts under control. As the Contracts and Services Administrator, you will help coordinate contracted services, support facilities projects, and ensure buildings and sites remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.

The work will be varied from day to day. You may be arranging building services or security activities, assessing contractor performance, supporting fit-out projects, or contributing ideas to improve how facilities are managed. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help deliver dependable facilities that support essential water and wastewater services across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contracted services that support facilities and site operations.
  • Help manage building safety, compliance, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
  • Support facilities-related projects, including fit-out activities and service arrangements.
  • Review contractor performance and contribute to service quality improvements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to keep services running smoothly.
  • Assist with procurement and tendering activities linked to service contracts.
  • Use business systems and facilities technology to track, organise, and support administration tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience with service contract administration, procurement, and tender processes.
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to coordinate projects, analyse information, and solve problems effectively.
  • Confidence using computer-based business systems and facility management tools.
  • A customer-first approach with a focus on service excellence.
  • Current C Class Driver Licence.

Additional information

This role includes onsite work in Sunshine Acres, Queensland, Australia. The position is full-time.
