Overview

Join a prominent civil infrastructure initiative as a Contract Administrator, delivering commercial and contractual support crucial to project success. The role focuses on managing contract documentation, handling variations and claims, and overseeing subcontractor administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide contract administration services across a large-scale civil infrastructure project.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and subcontract agreements.
  • Handle variations, issue notices, process claims, and manage all contractual correspondence.
  • Support financial processes including progress claims, project forecasting, and cost monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate registers and records of contracts and commercial documents.
  • Ensure subcontractor management and compliance with relevant requirements.
  • Review project documentation to confirm alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and Commercial team on reporting and commercial operations.
  • Monitor project risks and contribute to identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to company processes, systems, and client standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience as a Contract Administrator within civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with projects such as earthworks, roads, pipelines, utilities, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Understanding of construction contracts, handling variations, and commercial workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic project environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant construction management software.
  • Preferably qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar disciplines.
