Job Overview
We seek a meticulous and highly organized Contracts Administration Manager to oversee the entire contract lifecycle at our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia location. This role involves drafting, negotiating, executing, and renewing contracts while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-departmental efforts, manage vendor relations, and optimize contractual terms to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of contract management including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and renewing agreements across commercial, vendor, and service categories.
- Assess contract terms to detect risks, inconsistencies, or areas needing clarification or amendments.
- Maintain a centralized and well-organized contract repository with version control for easy stakeholder access.
- Track compliance and contractual commitments by monitoring key dates, milestones, and renewal deadlines to avoid lapses.
- Liaise with legal, procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure contracts meet requirements and are executed promptly.
- Generate detailed contract reports for management highlighting critical clauses, financial impacts, and compliance status.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships including performance assessment and contract renewal negotiations.
- Guarantee contracts adhere to AECOM policies, Saudi Arabian regulations, and applicable legal standards.
- Develop and roll out standardized contract templates and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and uniformity.
- Advise internal teams on contractual obligations, terms, and best practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve contract terms, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
- Handle sensitive contractual information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of experience in contracts administration, procurement, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and management.
- Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving and detail orientation.
- Ability to assess contract risks and ensure compliance effectively.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Experience using contract management software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Background in managing supplier and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with contract law principles and procurement workflows.
- Capable of independent work and effective team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience in large multinational corporations.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian business laws and local compliance requirements.
- Industry experience in construction, engineering, procurement, or manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with database management and digital contract management tools including e-signature platforms.
- Leadership experience, including supervisory roles.
- Relevant certifications in contracts management or related fields.
