Position Overview
We are partnering with Ma'aden to drive significant mining and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and are seeking a Contract Specialist to join our team in Jubail. The successful candidate will support contract development, negotiation, and management for EPCM projects, ensuring both commercial soundness and adherence to contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating contracting strategies and support tender processes for EPCM projects.
- Draft, analyze, negotiate, and oversee construction and service contracts.
- Manage bidder prequalification, evaluate bids, negotiate agreements, and oversee contract awards.
- Handle contract modifications, claim resolutions, and closure activities.
- Supervise contractor adherence to contract terms and project specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, reports, and management systems.
- Collaborate extensively with procurement, legal, project controls, and project teams to address contractual risks and commercial considerations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar fields.
- Experience in EPCM, mining, industrial sectors, or major capital projects.
- Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
- Sound understanding of commercial terms, contract risk assessment, and procurement procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Additional qualifications in legal or commercial disciplines are advantageous.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard industry contract forms.
- Knowledge of Saudi contracting practices and local content regulations.
- Arabic language skills considered a plus.

Work Location and Schedule
The role is based at the Chamber of Commerce Building in Al - Shati, Fanateer, Jubail. Office hours are Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
