Role overview
Hitachi Energy is hiring a Contract Operations Analyst in Riyadh to support the full contract lifecycle and keep contract operations running smoothly. The role focuses on accurate records, compliance, and cross-functional coordination to help reduce risk and improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee contracts from initial drafting through review, signing, and storage for a range of commercial agreements such as sales, vendor, and service contracts.
- Check that agreements align with internal policies, legal obligations, and applicable industry rules.
- Keep contract systems and databases up to date with reliable and current information.
- Work closely with legal, sales, finance, and project teams to manage contract terms and related obligations.
- Support negotiations by preparing documents, reviewing terms, and spotting possible risks or opportunities.
- Track contract execution, identify any departures from agreed terms, and help drive resolution.
- Prepare reports and analyses on contract results, compliance, and key performance indicators to support business decisions.
- Contribute to better contract processes through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out internal compliance checks and maintain organized contract records.
Candidate profile
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a comparable operational position is expected, ideally in a large multinational company or the energy industry.
- Solid knowledge of contract law basics and commercial terms and conditions is needed.
- Hands-on experience with contract management tools and CRM platforms such as SAP and Salesforce is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability to understand complex contract language and data.
- High level of accuracy and excellent organizational habits.
- Clear written and verbal communication, plus strong interpersonal skills for working across different teams.
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and stay effective in a fast-moving environment.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is mandatory.
