About Adaptis

Adaptis is a project management consultancy delivering project management, superintendent, procurement, and contract administration services across various sectors including industrial, aviation, retail, aged care, multi-residential, and commercial. Established through the merger of two reputable Western Australian consultancies, Adaptis functions as a senior-led, close-knit firm, providing a genuine, high-value alternative to larger corporate organizations. The company operates with agility, forward-thinking ethos, and values autonomy, trusting its staff to make independent decisions. Joining Adaptis means becoming part of a workplace where your judgment is respected and your contributions are visible.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Contract Administrator to participate in a major aviation infrastructure project—one of Western Australia's most significant and landmark developments. The successful candidate will work on-site within a broader project team, handling the commercial and contractual components that ensure smooth project progression. This role offers a unique chance to gain in-depth, practical experience on a large-scale project, supported by an experienced and supportive senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with all contractual obligations and terms.
  • Manage progress claims, payment schedules, contract variations, extensions of time, and contractual correspondence efficiently.
  • Monitor and report on costs, budgets, and commercial performance metrics regularly.
  • Assist with procurement activities, tender processes, and subcontractor management.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records and documentation to satisfy contractual and audit standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team, clients, and relevant stakeholders to identify risks and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least five years of proven experience in contract administration within construction or infrastructure projects; experience and/or qualifications in civil engineering will be considered a strong advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, security of payment legislation, and understanding of commercial risks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with robust commercial judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and workstreams.
  • Excellent communication skills and aptitude in managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, engineering, project management, or related fields.

What We Offer

  • A career-enhancing opportunity to contribute to a landmark aviation infrastructure project.
  • Potential to advance into a Project Manager role upon project completion.
  • Support from an experienced, cooperative team committed to your professional growth.
  • A progressive consultancy embracing AI technology and innovative approaches.
  • Competitive and negotiable remuneration aligned with experience.
