Job description
Role overview
This is a Contract Administrator opportunity with a well-established tier-two construction business in Sydney. The role suits someone who enjoys working on premium, design-led building projects and wants the chance to grow within a stable, long-term pipeline.
The company is Australian-owned and manages projects across the residential, commercial, and aged-care sectors. It has the scale to deliver major architectural builds worth over $100M, while still maintaining a supportive, close-knit environment with genuine development opportunities and limited corporate bureaucracy.
Compensation is in the range of $110,000 to $150,000 base, depending on experience, plus superannuation.
What you will do
- Support the commercial performance of high-profile building projects with a strong design focus.
- Work closely with premium subcontractors to help deliver high-quality outcomes and finishes.
- Manage the full financial process, including package letting, procurement, variations, and final accounts.
- Contribute to risk management, profit protection, and strong commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
What the company offers
The business is positioned for strong future growth and offers a pathway toward senior Contract Administrator or Project Management roles. The team culture is collaborative, high-performing, and focused on creating a rewarding place to work.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant has proven commercial experience in Sydney construction, ideally across multi-residential, commercial, or institutional projects. You should be confident negotiating firmly and fairly, managing risk effectively, and keeping projects financially successful without compromising relationships.
Additional information
The employer is described as a modern tier-two builder with strong capability, a focus on excellence in design, and a people-first approach. The role is intended to be a long-term career move for someone looking for stability, progression, and the chance to contribute to landmark projects.
