Key Responsibilities

• Assimilate and interpret political ideologies, objectives, and philosophies into tailored messaging suited to the topic, speaker, and target audience.
• Develop thematic political content and key statements for prominent figures.
• Create and direct conceptual ideas while guiding Art Directors and Video Editors, particularly requiring strong proficiency in Hindi.
• Maintain confidentiality, uphold high standards of client handling, and deliver outstanding performance in a demanding environment.
• Contribute to research documentation, assist with translations, and handle relevant miscellaneous tasks.
• Adapt to long working hours including weekend commitments.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting requiring excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership qualities with a deep understanding of Indian politics.

Additional Expectations and Skills

• Fluency and strong command over Hindi, English, and Bengali languages with a good grasp of grammar and stylistic nuances.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and coordinate across internal teams.
• Minimum undergraduate education with 2-5 years of experience in content writing, journalism or related fields, with a demonstrated portfolio focused on political or public affairs content.
• Knowledge of additional Indian regional languages is advantageous.
• Proven experience creating content for social media posts, advertisements, and banners.
• Deep understanding of YouTube trends and viewer engagement strategies; expertise in long-form content, animation video scripts, and short-form trending content.
• Proficiency in crafting posts, threads, captions, and scripts tailored to maximize virality and audience interaction across platforms such as Instagram and YouTube.
• Skilled in developing captivating captions, social media narratives, blogs, and video scripts aligned with brand voice and audience engagement.
• Ability to undertake research on trending subjects and implement SEO-friendly content strategies to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, and narrative development skills combined with SEO and keyword optimization proficiency.
• Adept at adopting creative content styles suited for various digital platforms.
• Awareness and application of emerging AI tools and trends to enhance content development and operational workflows.

Terms and Contract Details

This opportunity is a contractual position based in Kolkata, lasting until June 2027. The role demands dedication, confidentiality, and excellence in delivering political content in a fast-moving environment with flexible, extended working hours including weekends.
